A loaf of Bread, Two Packets of milk and an Overflowing Pot of Love Feeding the Vulnerable of Kibera Slums

One evening in April 2020, Fr Jose Martinez the parish priest at Christ the King Parish Kibera was driving through the slum when 28-year-old Kennedy Mbundi, a resident of Kibera stopped him.

“I know many of us are looking at you now. Many of us are looking at the church. If someone comes, give them this,” Kennedy said as he handed Fr Martinez a package containing a loaf of bread and two packets of milk.
