At 50 years, the Consolata Shrine in Westlands has not only become a spiritually nourishing fountain, but also a major landmark in the Capital City of Nairobi, Kenya. If you live or work in Westlands you can time yourself by the church bell that peals every top of the hour from the Shrine.
Surrounded by many business premises and offices, the Consolata Shrine provides a serene place of worship where catholic faithful working around Westlands can attend daily Mass. In the morning at 7 o’clock, lunchtime at 1.15 pm and in the evenings at 5.15 pm, which many of them are not able to attend from their parishes because of early and late commute
