Do you know the fascinating story of Emmanuel Ofosu Yeboah, the Ghanaian athlete and advocate for people with disabilities?
Emmanuel was born in Ghana in 1977. It turned out he had a severely deformed right leg. This was at a time when children with disabilities were frowned upon, often hidden or abandoned by their parents. His father, unable to deal with the disability, absconded, leaving Emmanuel’s mother to raise him.
