Did you know that 70 percent of Kenyan farmers cannot feed themselves from one harvest to the next, and that many borrow money in order to buy food? In November 2019 a group of catholic funded organizations and Caritas Africa came together to discuss Agroecology, a form of farming that is cheap, chemical free, sustainable and that produces safe food all year round. On the Interview our journalist Lourine Oluoch talks to Stellamaris Mulaeh, the Country Programme Coordinator at Fastenopfer Switzerland, one of the conveners of the conference on why Agroecology is the way to go for safe food production and care of the earth, our common home.
