Young ‘blood’ Amongst the Youth

There is a rising and chilling phenomenon that is creeping into the world of the youth, death as a solution to problems.Sometime last year, a youthful student in Chuka university in Meru County penned a tearful goodbye letter to a fellow student who had jilted him, then proceeded to commit suicide.

Some months ago, the country was left shell shocked after a fifth-year medical student was hacked to death by a lover. The killer who had known the victim for some time, and who was also known to the victim’s parents, drove to Eldoret
