The Prayer Garden at the Consolata Shrine Westlands provides a calming break from the noise and fast pace of the Nairobi city life. The lush vegetation, and scenic landscape connects the weary pilgrim with nature. A statue of Jesus kneeling, praying in the Garden of Gethsemane welcomes you to the garden, giving an impression that you are entering a holy place. Two fountains with blessed water mark the entry and exit to the garden.
An artificial stream slowly drifts through the garden, passing below tiny bridges that connect the Stations of the Cross. At each station of the cross there is a seat where one can sit as they contemplate the passion of Jesus. Around the prayer garden are outdoor seats where individuals
